Why We Exist
Too Many Brilliant Minds Are Left Behind
In 2020, our founder Dr. Amara Kofi spent three months visiting communities in West Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Everywhere he went, he met incredibly talented people — students, workers, parents — who desperately wanted to learn but had no affordable path to quality education.
That experience became Kaaj UN. Not a startup. Not an app. A movement to make free education a reality for the 1.5 billion people alive today who still lack access to it.

Founded with a Vision
Kaaj UN launched with 5 courses and 200 students from 3 countries. The mission was clear: quality education, zero cost, for anyone with a screen.
10,000 Students Milestone
Word spread. Within a year, Kaaj UN had 10,000 registered learners from 22 countries. The platform expanded to 20 courses across 4 subjects.
AI Study Assistant Launched
The AI Study Assistant went live — the first free AI tutor available to every student, in every language. Completion rates jumped from 61% to 89% overnight.
50+ Countries & Certificate Program
Kaaj UN crossed 50 countries and launched the AI-verified certificate program. Employers in 40+ countries began accepting Kaaj UN credentials.
